With a win Halla will become the first team with 5 regular season titles as well as set a team record with 34 wins (Sakhalin recorded 34 wins in 2015/16). Park Woo-Sang is still in the hunt for his 100th career goal. Ahn Jin-Hui is a point away from 100 and Mike Radja needs 3 assists for 100.

The first year Daemyung Killer Whales, after sweeping High1 to close out their home schedule, dropped all 6 games in Japan and are likely to finish 8th in the standings. Adam Estoclet and Brett Parnham are 6th and 7th in league scoring.

Asia League games tonight 12/29

Tonight Mike Radja will make his debut for Anyang Halla, and the team will retire Jung Byung-Chun‘s number 10 vs High1 on a night of  possible  major milestones for High1 and Halla players alike.

High1 sits in seventh place, 8 points out of a playoff spot with 18 games remaining but a huge shootout win in Sakhalin on Monday could be the catalyst needed to get them moving in the right direction.

Halla is 8-2 in it’s last 10 at home and is on 3 game winning streak.

The Halla game can be seen live at Anyang Halla youtube. The game is at 7pm Korea Standard Time (5 AM Eastern for people in Toronto and New York)
