Sangmu marches to victory against the Dragon

Mun Kuk-Hwan’s 7th goal of the year just 49 seconds into the game was all Hwang Hyun-Ho needed as he stopped 38 shots to give Daemyung Sangmu a 4-0 win and earn his third career shutout.

Park-Sang Jin (10th) and Kim Hyun-Joon (3rd) scored in a span of 1:14 in the second period, and Lee Chan-Hwi scored an empty-net goal for his first for Sangmu since coming over from High1 in early December.

Hashimoto Michio stopped 22 of 25 shots for the Dragon in the loss and Brett Parnham made his return from an injury that cost him 13 games and had 5 shots on goal and a -1 rating.

It was a mild game with only 7 penalties called. Both teams combined 0-7 on the powerplay.
